What Is Killing America (and Western Civilization)

It will certainly kill your dreams for happiness. It will ruin the life of your younger loved ones and those who you will never live to see…but would love and hope only the best for.

I beseech you to take time, perhaps a couple of reading sessions, to understand what has happened, and is continuing to happen to American society during its stunning cultural decline.

To fix a problem, if it is not too late; we must define it and learn about its details best we can.

Before and since the recorded beginnings of America’s decline around 1960, other problems have challenged our ability to cope and recover in various ways, and to some extents. It appears that our cultural resistance to other destructive forces have been weakened. Perhaps as a result, no influences have have been as destructive to America as the ones one you will learn about in the following article.

Please read and learn the main factors presented in this article. If you are aware of the bizarre, even psychotic changes in American culture (boys are girls and visa-versa, the loss of parental rights to guide their children, Constitutional conservatives being labeled “right-wing” white-supremactists, radicals and more). Why, over the last several generations, all of this and more has happened will become clearer when you read this article.

The big question for you is: have you seen and heard these things happening in America with your own eyes and ears? If you have, you are not a conspiracy theorist (as others may charge), you are a rational thinker in touch with our cultural realities.

Hamas Calls for World Jihad

The horror of Palestine’s Hamas terrorist attacks raping, shooting, decapitating, burning infants, children teens, whole families, and the aged in Israel is an unparalleled disaster for them: with the exception of the holocaust.

I have no words to describe the unspeakable bestialities inflicted on innocent citizens, with 1200 killed and a large number taken as hostage’s, in addition to our own killed and taken citizens.

Israel is counterattacking and has promised that no members of Hamas will be left alive.

This is exactly what must happen if Israel is to survive. The U.S. will reportedly support them in this effort, but our economy and military is stretched near the limits.

This situation is very dangerous to Israel and the West; with China, Russia, North Korea and Iran (working to become a nuclear power) and all saber-rattling. There is great danger of a four-front WWIII, at a time when America is unprepared.

If that is not enough, American Muslims and sympathizers are demonstrating in cities and university settings in favor of Palestine; Chants of “Gas the Jews” have been documented and shown of Fox News this on (10/12/23.

Finally, it is essential that you see all of the following.

It seems unbelievable, but I believe it is true.

All of this together with our wide-open borders defines our grave homeland mistakes over the course of many years.

Biden Likely Funded Attack on Israel

Biden was going to 6 billion dollars of Iraq’s frozen money to them to get five American prisoners back. He was going to do so against conservative advice. Biden is reported to have stopped this initiative. However, that soon to be released money likely helped to encourage the terrorist attack against Israel. Such ransom payments normally lead to more captured Americans held for ransom, by other outlaw groups around the world. This has just happened as American’s are part of the over 100 Israelis with Americans now held hostage by Hamas.

This terrorist attack was, an still is, an unimaginably horrific attack on citizens and military alike.

The Biden/Obama administration cannot be trusted. The Biden/Obama has been cozying-up to Iran.

1960’s World-Wide Decline to Social Chaos!

There is an extraordinary chronology of population behavior changes in America beginning in the late 1950’s and 60’s. Astonishingly, about that same time, similar population behavior changes occurred throughout much of the world!

I suspect that the technological developments of social media (and more) at that time, and post WWII improved standards of living in developing nations sparked world-wide cultural revolutions. Well-researched concepts of technological determinism and behavioral contagion appear to be useful in evaluating these stunning pandemic behavior changes.

There have been allegations of accuracy problems with Wikipedia. But, having lived through the the time-period covered by this article, I can vouch for the accuracy of nearly all of it. Furthermore, my readings of other books and articles recounting the events of this era confirm a large number of them reported in this Wikipedia publication.

4 Day School Week: Another American Nightmare

I am working diligently on finishing my book. The tentative working title being: “The Psychology of America’s Decline and Possible Recovery”.

As I write, I continually find rapidly accumulating evidence that a recovery from America’s well-documented social, cultural and political decline is rapidly diminishing.

The following article is just another example of how our children are being neglected in favor of other non-parenting adult preferences.

Our children socially and educationally damaged by America’s failed morality, Covid 19 isolation from education, a lack of parental supervision while schools closed, inferior computer assisted learning compared to teacher instruction, and measurably the worst levels of mental health in our recorded history.

Education is proceeding as it generally does, the call for more research follows the implementation of educational changes, which of course is an ass-backwards way to do anything. If honestly conducted and interpreted, this research is likely to have mixed results and to call for more research. Common sense will suggest that less rather than more, is no way to remediate any educational deficit.

A four day educational week is sure to to be just another public school travesty.

I recommend that families that can, make whatever sacrifices reasonable to leave public education for private, charter, of home schooling.

“Escape from Freedom”

Erich Fromm (1922-1982)

I learned of Erich Fromm sometime during my college years, as a major in psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in sociology and economics, but also studied psychology and corresponded with Karen Horny and Harry Stack Sullivan, both important psychologists who influenced his thinking and writing. Fromm became a Neo-Freudian. Although my keen interest was in a more scientific behavioral psychology, I never forgot this book, “Escape From Freedom”, published in 1941, a year before my birth.

Fromm became interested in the ways human psychology and society interacted to shape the personality of its citizens. In some important areas his views and my own concur. One of the most important is the odd title of his book, “Escape From Freedom”. By freedom, he referred to the personal responsibility it takes to make a living, manage ones own affairs and cope with the many challenges of life. “Escape From Freedom”, could have been entitled Escape From Personal Responsibility. Or maybe, Addiction to Governmental Control. Who would like to “Escape From Freedom”?

Erich Fromm’s answer was: under the right conditions, nearly everyone!

He noted that America had resisted “all totalitarian attempts to gain significant influence”….noting America’s advances in freedom for both blacks and others, but he warned that the quest for freedom can be suppressed. As it was in the lead-up to WWII, and other times. He admonished that we must not be deceived “into thinking that the dangers of ‘escape from freedom’ are not a great, or even greater today than when this (his) book was first published.”

You have learned that animals generally seek the most convenient and least effortful ways to obtain their reinforcers. Whether it is first picking the low-hanging fruit, eating the slowest prey, or drinking from the nearest pond. Also, it should be clear that without special training and special contingencies of reinforcement, people tend to conveniently situate themselves near schools, churches, grocery stores and other things they need and enjoy. They tend to take elevators when stairs are available, park closer to various entrances than further way, and purchase products and services that make it easier and faster to achieve the results they desire. We may know someone who does everything the hard way, but they are in a distinct minority.

The science of psychology has demonstrated that making the availability of reinforcers more immediate and easier to secure, for humans and other animals, generally weakens their tenacity and perseverance. This generally lowers motivation and interferes with learning new forms of creative behaviors. However, over-time, when these things have been more difficult to acquire, this experience tends to increases tenacity and perseverance and learned creativity!

Erich Fromm, a modified Freudian, perceived the dynamics of important scientific laws and principles of human behavior capable of transforming citizens, cultures and society’s, for better or worse.

I have long known that reproductive rates in human has declined around the world in developing nations. Correlated with that has been the weakening of religious influences. A factor that many, including myself, have known to champion human reproduction. If, as I suspect there is some truth to that, there is clearly more to this story…and it is a Big Story!
