Congressman Allen West vs. Nezar Hamze – Allen West is a Congressman from Florida.
Mr. Hamze waded into this discussion with congressman West in attack mode with typical Muslim misinformed bravado.
Do you know any politician who has the background and guts who could have handled Nezar better?
You can just see it, Hamze thought he would be dealing with a another typical American PC pantywaist politician who panders to anyone and any cause to get votes.
He made one little mistake:  he walked into the perfect ambush and was unable to withdraw.

Obama-Care: Euthanasia For Elders!

I assume that many who read this title will think that I am overstating the problem, even responding hysterically. Well, I am not.

A dear friend with a heart condition told me that his heart specialist informed him that at 70 years of age, he could no longer have his regular heart screenings. These screenings have averted lethal events through preventive interventions.

He told me that the physician informed him that he could do the screenings if he came in at around the regularly scheduled times and complained of something heart related. Under those circumstances, and only under those circumstances… with the advent of Obama-Care, could he do the customary tests that previously had saved my friend’s life.

The physician told him that he was not to tell others what he said, or he would deny ever having said such a thing.

Some may think that I have made this story up, just to scare them into voting against Obama. They would be damn wrong. My parents despised liars and they taught me to follow their own fine ethical practices.

However, you should vote against Obama for President for many reasons…and this is just one of them.

Let’s Teach Good Values To Our Children

The following is an excellent article on much of what is going wrong in America.

I do not agree that children are born barbarians, as the author implies with his quote of Thomas Sowell.

By the way, this will be only one of a very few times that I am likely to disagree with Thomas Sowell; a brilliant conservative economist who I greatly admire.

As a developmental psychologist, I would ask you to consider that infants are born with certain biologically based tendencies that become more complex and refined with maturation. Also, just as importantly, healthy infants show an amazing and growing ability to learn increasingly complex behavior patterns, discriminations, emotions, and expectations from their environments. Their environments are composed of their physical surroundings; including behaving people, their artifacts, technology, practices and rituals…i.e.,  the values and reflections of values that comprise one’s socioculture.

I believe that certain things desperately need correction in modern America’s socioculture and Mr. Hawkins has clearly identified some of these things.

To both escape and avoid our children developing into barbarians, we must teach the right values to them. In this we are now failing.

Gonzo carefully researches the activities of various Islamic terrorist sects and has provided important information in his recent comment about my grim post showing an execution of an Islamic woman for questionably alledged sexual misconduct.

Your readers would be well advised to understand a few basic facts.

1) The sect of islam in Saudi Arabia is the newest and most devastating of all sects. Wahhabi spawned the Salafist (Safi).

2) This sect is brutal. The Saud royal family has a symbiotic relation with them, as they keep control of islam in Arabia, and in return, the Sauds give them substantial funding.

3) It is the Salafists that are causing the majority of the troubles worldwide, and have spawned nearly all of the terrorist groups.

4) Moderates in the know, fear them.

5) Safi/Saudi funded mosques are growing worldwide at an extraordinary rate, and comprise 80% of the mosques in the US ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC SOURCES. (This is not American fear mongering).

In Russia today, one moderate Imam was brutally murdered and another seriously injured in a car bombing. The perps were Salafist muslims hellbent on starting a civil war to break that region in to an islamic state. The Imam’s targeted had spoke out against Saudi funded extremist Salafists and their rhetoric of violence.

It is true. Not all Muslims are the problem. However, a certain sect is. They are well funded, well organized, worldwide, and impacting politics around the world. Their faces are organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, Taliban, Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, IANC, and their worldwide network counterparts.

There is no such thing as 20,000 lone gunmen acting in similar ways for similar reasons.

All good folks – we are being played…against each other.

I came across this and I think it is something everyone should think about.  It is amazing how  accurate this is, I wish I had said it but that honor goes to  former-President James Garfield, while a member of Congress, he issued this warning at the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1876.  History certainly can teach us important lessons if we would take the time to learn them.
 

“Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature.”

Washington Post Tells The Truth About Obama!

I am in the U.P. on vacation with my family. Great time with all, until I ate somthing at a restaurant that gave me food poisoning. Now that is an experience that I will not wish to revisit.
Anyway, this is the first time that I have been able to get into the library at the Indian Reservation to blog. I will make-up for lost time by posting several today.

THE WASHINGTON POST HITS OBAMA!
Finally, the Washington Post speaks out on Obama!  This is very brutal, timely though.  As I’m sure you know, the Washington Post newspaper has a reputation for being extremely liberal.  So the fact that its editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama in its newspaper makes this a truly amazing event and a news story in and of itself.  At last, the truth about our President and his obvious socialist agenda are starting to trickle through the “protective wall” built around him by our liberal media.

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages.  How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?  Imagine a future historian examining Obama’s pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a “community organizer”; a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote “present”); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.
He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator.  And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama’s “spiritual mentor”; a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama’s colleague and political sponsor.  It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?
Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day.  But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass.  Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass – held to a lower standard – because of the color of his skin.
Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) “non-threatening,” all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?
Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon – affirmative action.  Not in the legal sense, of course.  But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.
Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.  Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.  Liberals don’t care if these minority students fail; liberals aren’t around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action.  Yes, racist.  Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin – that’s affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn’t racism, then nothing is.
And that is what America did to Obama.  True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be?  As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate.  All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.
What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?  In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama’s oratory skills, intellect, and cool character.  Those people – conservatives included – ought now to be deeply embarrassed.
The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that’s when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.  Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth – it’s all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.
And what about his character?  Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles.  Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess.  It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.  But really, what were we to expect?  The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?
In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.  When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense.  It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.
