“The Collapse of Western Civilization”

The following video, sent to me by veteran and patriot Gordon Jones, is very disturbing. But, you absolutely must view it.

I believe that one of the greatest sources of human maladaptive behavior and real psychopathology, is the denial of reality. The following video presents the reality of collapsing Western Civilization and it will be upsetting to those who care.

Of course, Western Civilization includes America.

The question is: If the 330 million people in America (not counting millions of illegal migrants) were all lined up on a long, long railway and a freight train bearing down on them at a high rate of speed, could they communicate that fact amongst themselves in time to avoid being smashed asunder?!

Not if they are behaving as we are now.

Some of us see the self-destruction of our American society and culture coming at a rapid pace; we are trying to speak-out to alert everyone we can, but with fearfully little success.

The problems encountered when speaking-out are many. They are listed in no particular order, as follows:

  • Many people are offended when we try to tell them that a common way that cultures have committed suicide is by ungoverned immigration. This has been called “Suicide by Immigration”. We have suffered damaged friendships as a result of promulgating this fact.
  • Many are committed to political systems (socialism, communism, Islamism, anarchism) that are alien and perfectly incompatible with America’s political, economic, religious and value/moral systems: Incompatible with our very survival.
  • To defend America’s traditional culture is to invite ridicule, social censure and economic punishment.
  • Moreover, increasingly, to defend America’s traditional culture is to invite physical intimidation and/or physical attack.
  • Sometimes there are rolled eyes, snarky comments, or blank looks and silence.
  • Many of the elderly, simply say, “It won’t affect me, I’ll be gone by then!” Some say it flippantly and some say it sadly.
  • Many just say, “what you are telling me is upsetting and I don’t want to think about it”.
  • Similarly, many have actually said they do not want to look at the evidence of America’s decline, ” It’s too upsetting so why should I distress myself with that stuff”.
  • As a practicing psychologist (40 years), increasingly,  many young people have told me of their upset that they cannot find others their age to date and  marry because their peers lack moral/ethical standards, they are into sex and drugs, etc.. They see clearly and are troubled by America’s social and cultural decline. The kids see that many have retreated into social isolation, depression, alcohol, other illegal drugs or various forms of thrill seeking.
  • Many young people are so fearful of further national and international decline that they do not wish to bring children into our worsening world and society.

And so it goes with populations undergoing the loss of their societies and cultures, through-out history.

I have studied the decline of successful cultures through much of history and there is nothing in the following video that is untrue….it is spot-on!

I challenge you to view this video and send it to everyone you know. As a result, you may loose friends and cause controversy within your own family, but it must be done. If you are an American patriot, it is your duty to face reality and to do whatever you can to change the decline of America, even if only temporarily.

Wake-Up America! It is time to sink or swim.

A Dear Friend: Gone to Heaven

May 17, 2019

5/17/19

Danny….my ol’ Cub Scout buddy and our life-long dear friend….

Sally and I wish we could be with you and all of your loved ones today to celebrate your amazing life and share our sadness about the loss of your earthy presence with all of us.

You have been a model for us all as you courageously persevered under the weight of chronic illness to do wonderful things in every facet of your life.

You were a valedictorian of our graduating high school class and you continued as a world-class valedictorian for the rest of your life; in marriage to your precious and devoted Janny, your dearest parents, children, grandchildren, friends, your faith in God, amazing scholarship and world-wide good-works for humanity.

Sally and I loved our many cruises and other wonderful times with you, Janny, your family and the Palenske’s.

We will miss you dearly for the rest of our natural lives.

Sally and I pray that we will someday be able to join you on your eternal heavenly voyage.

Love, Sally and Tom Mawhinney

P.S., Danny, this is Tom.  I always enjoyed watching the way you lovingly, caressed and savored the occasional fine cigars we shared together. Do you think it would be O.K. to do that, if I am blessed to see you again?

Dr. Daniel Bays Obituary
Bays, Dr. Daniel Bays, Daniel Henry of Sunset Hills, Missouri, passed away at the age of 77 after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s disease. Dan was born in St. Joseph, Michigan in 1942 to parents Henry & Barbara Bays. He graduated valedictorian of St. Joseph High School and attended Stanford University, where he joined the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and studied in France for a year before receiving his BA in History in 1964. He earned a master’s in Far Eastern Studies in 1967 and a PhD in Asian History in 1971, both from the University of Michigan. In 1967, Dan married Janice Gardner, his loving wife of 51 years. Prior to completing his studies, Dan was accepted into the US State Department, though he resigned before accepting his post due to his refusal to publicly defend what he privately abhorred regarding US foreign policy at the time and his desire to become a history professor. Immediately upon receiving his PhD, Dan took a position teaching in the History Department at the University of Kansas. During his tenure there, he directed the Center for East Asian Studies and was twice elected chair of the History Department. He also spent substantial time overseas, including a National Endowment for the Humanities funded research project for the British Museum in London in 1973, and Fulbright scholarships to Taiwan in 1977 and 1984, as well as various extended teaching trips to China. Dan returned to Michigan in 2000, joining the History Department of Calvin College, where he was bestowed with the prestigious Spoelhof Chair and led the Hubers Asian Studies Program, establishing the Asian studies minor. Renowned around the world as the preeminent expert on Christianity in China, Dan authored/edited six books and wrote many scholarly articles which were published throughout his career. He also frequently reviewed submissions for respected academic publications, including the Harvard University Press, Yale University Press, and Oxford University Press. He spoke at international academic conferences and has directed major research projects funded by the Henry Luce Foundation and Pew Charitable Trusts. Dr. Bays was beloved by his students. At Calvin College, he established the Bays-Herzberg China Semester Abroad Scholarship, which is intended to strengthen students’ passions for and understanding of Chinese culture and language. Dan was especially fluent in speaking and reading Mandarin Chinese, as well as Japanese and French. Incredibly devoted to his family, Dan was humble, loving and kind. He turned his life over to the Lord in 1973. He is survived by his beloved wife Janny, his brother Tim (wife Barbara), as well as his daughter Kristen (husband Chris) Hite and son Justin (wife Sarah). He was especially proud of granddaughters, Georgia Hite and Selma Bays. He is also survived by precious friends the Palenskes, the Mawhinneys, the Nykamp family, Steve Zegura, and Art Sciaroni. Ever faithful to his true love and his God, he did have another love: the game of golf. Dan achieved a seven handicap index while a member of Lawrence Country Club, and could often be seen practicing his swing from his chair in his later days. Importantly, his deep faith did not preclude a cutting wit, nor a fine appreciation for irreverent humor and a good cigar. He was and will always be Very Truly Loved. In honor of Dr. Bays’ passion for Chinese studies, memorials are preferred to the Bays-Herzberg China Semester Abroad Scholarship, calvin.edu/go/give. Gifts can be specified to the Bays-Herzberg China Semester Abroad Scholarship, with an option to designate in memorial of Dan. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Dan’s life on Sunday May 19 at the Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, St Louis, MO. Visitation to be held at 2 PM with a service to be held at 3 PM.
