The many different variables associated with the decline of societies have been identified (wars, natural disasters, depletion of natural resources, uncontrolled immigration, etc.. This posting will focus upon two other important correlates of societal and cultural decline; they are the decline of indigenous religions and fecundity. Fecundity is a term used to describe a population’s ability to produce an “abundance of offspring”. For our purposes, the concern is the loss of a socioculture’s ability to reproduce enough citizens to sustain itself.
I am reading an excellent, but controversial book, entitled The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order (1996). I was surprised to find that the author, Samuel P. Huntington, wrote that modernity and the stresses that go with modernizing societies, actually stimulated increasing rates of Christian religion within populations, as well as other religions.
I will not address “other religions” in this posting, but will focus more specifically upon modernity, Christianity, fecundity and the decline of Western Civilization.
The idea that modernity has strengthened Western Civilization’s indigenous Christian religions is counter-intuitive to me and it also is in conflict with virtually everything that I have read in other scholarly publications on this topic. My broad-based readings on the topic of cultural decline have informed me that when cultures are in decline, there is a correlated decline in the population’s adherence to it’s indigenous religions and also its birthrates.
While there can be many interacting causes of cultural decline, loss of indigenous religions and fecundity seem to be omnipresent.
This is exactly is exactly what has been happening in Europe and America.
In my view, all of this (and I expect more) appears to underlay the “seemingly illogical”; and in my view, culturally suicidal impetus toward borderless states and uncontrolled immigration.
Please evaluate these and other sources you may find and tell me about your conclusions.

My title for this posting is a kind and soft question designed to illustrate a not-so-kind hard fact.
Radical liberals inflict “kind and compassionate” balderdash (“social justice”) upon us to further their own political agendas.
They make-up their own socialist definitions of this amorphous term. These political operatives are scoundrels bent upon creating a powerful socialist government in order to confiscate your money and redistribute it to whoever else they see fit.
The scam is that they find ways to take your money, “in fairness to the poor and disadvantaged, and disenfranchised”, and give it to others so-defined in order to gain their votes and strengthen their own political power.
Of course there are those who support “social justice” because it makes them feel kind and compassionate and/or; because they are simply uniformed about the long-term consequences, i.e, political corruption, identity citizen disorder, socialism, growing population dependency upon the government, national financial ruin and eventual anarchy.
I challenge you to see the following video and learn about the “sweet’ vacuous propagandistic language of the radical left, now embedded within a growing segment of our population wittingly or unwittingly destroying freedom and independence in America.

I have only two goals with this particular posting:
First, I would like my readers to enjoy some truly masterful humor with some deep and sustained belly-laughs! All of this without a word of profanity! It can be done, with a little intelligence.
Secondly, I would like to give a poke-in-the-eye to any politically correct snow flakes accidentally stumbled into my blog. They are certain to get their “undies-in-a-bundle” because of the many politically incorrect elements to this wonderful humor.
This IS “one big hoot”!

I have reviewed many of the articles on the internet related to the legalization of Marijuana for recreational use.
Sadly, they are numerous and overwhelmingly positive. They tell the reader where to get the pot, how much they can have, where they can grow it, how many plants they can have, how it will make money, reduce law enforcement over-load, how it will be fair to those who have had to go to jail, how it will reduce discrimination against minorities, and it is often framed as a symbol of America’s “freedom”.
So now my birth and growing-up State of Michigan has become just another sink-hole, among many other’s leading to America’s rapid decline.
So, as each state watches other states rake in the “ton’s of money” for their private and political marijuana pleasures, each state will be enticed to legalize other addictive substances in order to tax their use.
The past is prologue. It has been so with pornography, gambling, tobacco, alcohol, and now marijuana. There will be more formerly prohibited pleasurable substances and activities to come. There will be other conscious altering substances and there is already a lot of grass-roots lobbying for the legalization of prostitution. Permit me a dollop of venom whilst I twist the proverbial knife; perhaps the government will someday provide tax rebates to families who raise their daughters to work in that promising industry.
With the loss of Judeo/Christian moral influences in America, the quality of citizen’s behavior has diminished dramatically, and with this, the quality of our institutions and government have also diminished over time.
There will be hell to pay. The legalization of marijuana for recreation elsewhere has and will lead to increases in black market businesses, addiction among the populations, highway carnage, visits to emergency rooms, mental health problems, increasing youth use, brain damage among developing children and teens, physical health problems, damage to families, school underachievement and drop-outs, business absenteeism and discipline problems, impairment of our military, and more!
These and many more damages will be documented in time. But, the the irreparable damages to America and its citizens will have been done.
Although the immediate effects of legalizing more drugs for pleasure are fun and will briefly add to the tax coffers of government, the deferred consequences will be very painful and destructive to all Americans. The hidden financial and human costs, many yet undocumented but observable to those who look carefully, will far exceed the propagandized benefits.
It is indescribably painful for me to watch America systematically, and in so many ways, destroy itself.

Please give this some thought.
What do you think the Muslim terrorist threats will do to officials, the people of New York City and America; given the murderous threats they have made to the New Years Eve celebration there?
The fear, stress, needed security and emergency personnel; as well as organizational and financial costs caused by Muslim terrorist threats of sniper fire and explosive devices are overwhelming. They can be ruinous to the New York economy and increase the damage to all of America.
The Muslim terrorists know this is so whether the threats come true or not!
Just think about it…
Know that we are at war with Muslim terrorists and also in danger of war with North Korea, China, Russia and Iran. Such a war could easily eclipse any war in history as it rapidly expanded in scope, depending upon numerous other countries that could ally with any of these nations.
To make matters worse, America’s traditional allies in Europe have been badly weakened by uncontrolled Islamic immigration and socialism; as well as economic, cultural and spiritual decline. They will be unable to help America as they did during previous wars.
America must now have very tough conservative leadership at all levels of government. They must support unflinching negotiations with our enemies from positions of superior military power and a willingness to mercilessly destroy any enemy if negotiations fail.
If American weak leadership allows rogue nations to gain nuclear weapons, our loved ones and all of America will suffer hell on earth.
ISIS, other Muslim terrorist groups, and other hostile nations know that they can weaken, “transform” and defeat America by financially and spiritually draining us over whatever length of time it takes.
Wake-Up America! We are in grave peril.
