Gonzo On Political Correctness

Gonzoreality is a new blog on the cyber-block. Gonzo posted a comment to my recent blog on voter I.D. that I thought was pretty, pretty good. While he or she and I may not agree on all issues, this perspective, cleverly constructed, deserves to be front and center.

I agree completely that everyone should be carded.
Oh, and people may feel bad if they have to pick out clothes from the “big people” rack, so all clothes should be one size fits all. While we are at it, lets make sure everyone has equal opportunity in the world. We can’t discriminate against people just because they may be a little smarter than the other person, so I say we make passing doctor school and licenses easy enough so that almost anyone can be a doctor. Yes, thats it, absolutely, because afterall, what is important is celebrating diversity by making sure that everyone feels exactly the same. Now THAT is supreme liberal thinkin’.

The liberal/political correctness crowd enjoy pushing Darwinism…and in fact they are proof of evolution – and that evolution can go in reverse.

All kidding aside, I think PC started out simply to make a point and somewhere along the way it took on a life of its own. Unfortunately, they forgot to develop the ‘Stop’ button when they created this monster.

Newsflash: People are different.

So, What’s Wrong With Voter I.D. ?!

April 28, 2011

So, What’s Wrong With Voter I.D. ?!

I really don’t get it.  Last weekend I stopped by the liquor store to purchase a bottle of my favorite libation. The nice cashier asked for my I.D.. It teased her in a light-hearted way and showed her my driver’s license. I did feel somewhat indignant, but I did not take it out on the poor lady who was only following her orders. I could tell that she was a little embarrassed at having to ask me for identification.

After all, I am “pushing” 70 years.

So, several days later, as I am driving down the road the guy on the radio  explains that they are now thinking of altering the I.D. law in Indiana so that customers will only be “carded” if they appear to be under 40 years of age. Perhaps our legislators will put a few work hundred hours into that project: Maybe it should be “if they appear” to be under 37.5 or 28.7 years.

At first I bristled (only at the legislators, mind you) at the “insult” of being carded in order to buy alcohol.  It appears that this new carding practice is a new manifestation of the political correctness madness that has swept our socioculture. After all, we would not want to inconvenience or insult anyone who looks to be under 21 yrs and is carded. That would be an awful thing! Therefore we will inconvenience and insult  everyone who wants to buy a beverage containing alcohol, even 70 or 80 years olds.  Now that would be a fair and equitable thing to do.

Just imagine, at this very moment,  hundreds of thousands of adult customers fumbling for their I.D.s  in order to buy alcohol. Also Imagine hundred thousands of employees numbly and robotically inspecting these obviously middle and late-aged adult’s I.D.s,  to be certain that they are not under 21 years of age.

What an amazing and impractical waste of human time and energy!

While hundreds of thousands of old folks scramble for their I.D.s in order to buy booze,  sectors of our political system scream bloody murder about the unfair and discriminatory practice of requiring personal I.D. to vote in our democratic processes.

Even more obstreperous are political activists and politicians raise holy hell at the prospect of  checking the I.Ds. of  criminal suspects in order to determine if they are U.S. citizens.

Hard to believe isn’t it?

If you think about it, life in America is getting crazier by the minute .

Al-Qaeda Recruits Young Martyrs In America: Inspire Magazine

Al-Qaeda Recruits Young Martyrs In America: Inspire Magazine

I hope you had a wonderful Easter celebration. Let us now turn again to the matter of the survival of our culture.

It is now past-time to wake-up and perceive the killing reality of Islamic Jihad.

On April 20, 20011,  USA Today published an article on how Al-Qaeda is publishing and widely distributing some very “hep”, glossy and colorful magazines designed to recruit young people into terrorist activities. One such magazine is Inspire.

Another similar publication is Al-Shmikha magazine. This magazine is a Cosmopolitan-Like publication, designed to influence women to encourage their men to become martyrs. Of course there “is nothing wrong” with women also becoming martyrs.

Both magazines encourage global Jihad and editions are published in English in order to recruit terrorists in Western Cultures.

Some of the contents of these Magazines address the following:

  • How to build a “killing car”, I.e., car bombs.
  • In an associated magazine: How to deal with “global positioning devices”, video technology, and “hiding data on computers”.
  • “How to dismantle, clean and reassemble a Kalashnikov rifle.”
  • “How to turn a truck into ‘the ultimate mowing machine,’ by adding steelblades to the grill to ‘mow down the enemies of God’. “
  • Advising Muslims on how to “join the Jihad to carry out lone-wolf terrorist operations closer to home.”
  • “asking brothers in the West to attack Western interests in the West.”
  • One article encourages attacking in the West ‘because killing 10 soldiers in America…is much more effective than killing 100 apostates in the Yemeni military’.
  • “appealing especially to younger aspiring jihadis in the English-speaking world.”
  • “Radicals have said that the magazines contain good material, ‘because they allow for the jihadi phenomenon to grow’.”

And for those phonies in the Women’s Liberation Movement, who say nothing of the status of Muslim women in Radical Islam, I invite you to speak-up about  countless messages, such as the following:

  • al-Shamikha has featured “a woman praising her husband’s martyrdom and a tip: ‘When walking, do not look left or right to avoid attracting sin’.”

America: They are coming for you, your children and your grandchildren.

First Israel and Then Us!

In the next three Blogs, I will provide information that illustrates the intentions and tracks the amazing progress of Radical Islam to destroy Israel and the United States. I have presented information in previous blogs to underscore similar progress in the stealth jihadist (and not-so-stealth) movements against all of Western Culture and its’ religions.

I hope you are paying attention;  your lives and those of your loved ones are at stake.

Take time to read the following and realize the implications of the last item on this list.
