Merry Christmas!…People of Faith Happier!
People of Faith do tend to be happier than those who do not have faith in a higher power and who do not attend religious services.
They also tend to be physically healthier and live longer.
In recent decades the scientific Psychology of Religion has learned much about the benefits of religion that have long been apparent to many. But now there are reliable data to support not only the spiritual benefits of a religious belief and involvement, but also some very important earthly practical benefits.
