America Is Nuts: Sprinting Towards Sodom and Gomorrah
There are many stories about Sodom and Gomorrah (see the Wikipedia reference below).
I am using these terms to refer to the biblical account of cities that became so corrupted by ungoverned sexual behavior that they were destroyed by God.
Though I consider myself a Christian, I do not take all aspects of the Bible literally. However, I believe there are sections of the bible that represent a treasure trove of the revealed wisdom of the ages. I am convinced that individuals or sociocultures that spurn this wisdom do so at their own great, and even mortal, risk.
In my view, the Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah is one such example: I.e., ungoverned sexual behavior will destroy individual lives and it can also destroy entire sociocultures.
The disregulation of rules governing human sexual behavior in a society is just one, of a plethora of disregulations that naturally occur during the processes of sociocultural decline. My long-term research informs me that cultural decline may occur for numerous reasons, but the loss of traditional religions and the disorganization of sustaining moral/ethical standards become clear features of a great many sociocultures’ decline and even collapse.
Of course some religiously-based belief systems and codes-of-conduct have failed to sustain sociocultures. But, I know of no socioculture that has survived for many hundreds of years on the basis of pure Secular Humanism…The emerging dominant religion in Western Europe and now in America.
Secular Humanism is now the religion of America’s Government and all of its agencies, including the military. This is the religion of the political forces of our undoing: Progressive Liberalism, Socialism and Communism…all existing on the same continuum of tyranny. Secular Humanism is also the religion of our federal government’s most powerful secular propaganda machine: the American entertainment media and majority of its news media.

All of the above is now in competition with traditional Judeo/Christian ethics and morals. It should be clear that when one set of precepts and social guidelines advances the other must be weakened.
The ongoing assault upon our rule-governed sexual traditions is only one of many coordinated attacks upon America. It is no over-statement to call these attacks: “America’s Great Culture Wars”.
