Rules for Revolution
Snopes reports that both of the lists that I will present below are false. They do this because the attributed authorship of these two sets of rules is unknown. Therefore, the “falseness” Snopes proclaims is only because these lists have been falsely attributed to their supposed authors.
I will submit to you that even though the authors were falsely attributed, and in the final analysis unknown, these lists are absolutely true of the age-old progressive/socialist/ communist strategies used to destroy democracies and democratic republics. First they weaken a society until it falls into anarchy, disorder and lawlessness. Then they “Transform” the political system into socialism, with increasing tyranny on the road to Communism.
Historically, as is the case with Putin’s Russia invading Ukraine to squelch the advancement of democracy, these strategies have been employed at the barrel of guns. This is ongoing as I write.
However, thanks to our Constitution’s Second Amendment, such an attack is not so likely to work in America. Therefore, as Antonio Gramsci has recommended, progressive/socialist/ communist forces have simply infiltrated every major institution in America, including our government. They are successfully destroying our Nation.

As a result of Gramsci-like peaceful strategies progressive/socialist/communist goals are now well-advanced in America. It is very possible that their successes have moved us beyond the point of no return, already transforming America into a Nation tyrannically controlled by its Leviathan Federal Government.
Yes, I used the word “Leviathan” in the last sentence very purposefully. Many may not know the historical importance of this powerful word. Please review the following before considering the two lists, clearly identifying the ways in which progressive/socialist/communist forces are constructing a new American Leviathan.

Rule set # 1
1. Corrupt the young, get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial. Destroy their ruggedness.
2. Get control of all means of publicity.
3. Get people’s minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books and other trivialities.
4. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance.
5. Destroy the people’s faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempt, ridicule and obloquy.
6. Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.
7. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit and produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.
8. Foment unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders, and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the part of government toward such disorders.
9. By specious argument cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues, honesty, sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness.
10. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, as a prelude to confiscating them and leaving the populace helpless.
Rule Set # 2
There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before a “transforming force” is able to create a Social State.
The first rule is the most important.
1) Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. This way taxes can be increased, and that will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. With this accomplished it is possible to create a police state.
5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of the largest segment of the population as possible lives (Food, Housing, and Income). Federal Control of the population is essential.
6) Education — Take control of what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion — Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor this will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor. Do the same with faith and ethnicity. All of this will increase the probability of public disorder and will provide a logical defense for a police state.

I wrote the following Blog in 2014.
For generations many Americans have been propagandized into favoring Marxism. This was made possible by Marxist revolutionaries slowly, but steadily, gaining more and more control over many sectors of our culture (Education, Mainstream Media, Entertainment, Jurisprudence, the Electoral Process, and much more.
