Football Builds Character: Tears of Compassion
In our prissy post-modern new age, football gets a lot of bad press. Yes, if street thugs and criminals are recruited into the game at its college and professional “pinnacle” levels, the reputation will be well deserved.
But if football is played with courage and good sportsmanship, under the training of excellent coaches, it can be a wonderful source of character development for the young men who play the sport.
If you don’t believe me, or if you think it a game only fit for beasts an bully’s, I challenge you to see the following short video.
If you do believe me, and if you ever played football the right way, you just gotta see this one: You will burst with pride!
