Race and Economics: Walter E. Williams
As you may know, Walter E. Williams is Black Economist. He is a John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University. Sadly, economics was a neglected part of my personal education and I have worked to remediate that problem. This is also true for many others in America. Another of my favorite economists is professor Thomas Sowell, who appears to me to be largely in agreement with Walter Williams on essential ideas about how to strengthen America and improve our common good.
America’s relative ignorance about economics is a highly regrettable condition. In order to make sensible culturally healthy decisions, when we engage in political behavior and vote, an understanding of the science and technology of economics is essential.
In my coming blogs, I will share my selection of Walter William’s quotes and thoughts on this topic. I hope you will find them interesting and helpful.
Also coming is an analysis of what appears to be an epidemic of narcissism among America’s citizens.
Please “stay tuned’, these are two hot and important topics, vis-a-vis America’s successful evolution.
