Stop The Obama Agenda

Stop The Obama Agenda

My dear wife, Sally, showed me a bumper sticker she received from an organization called The Traditional Values Coalition.

In most cases we are strongly in favor of traditional values and we sure wish that all the rest of America felt the same way.

The Bumper sticker said “Project 2010: Stop the Obama Agenda–VOTE”

I said, “I’d like to have it to put on my van”. She was concerned that, with an anti-Obama bumper sticker, the mildly urban area that I park in when I am at my private practice might be one that would invite vandalism to my vehicle. She also noted that she is fearful of putting it on her car for similar reasons and that she even worried about her personal welfare, under some conditions.

The bumper sticker now lays like a neon sign on our coffee table. It rivets my attention each time I walk by. What an interestingly complex stimulus it is. Simultaneously, it “calls us to battle” and stimulates feelings cowardice.

You can call us paranoid if you like: but we’re not paranoid if someone is really out to get us—And Obama and his Chicago socialist/thug associates are out to get us all.

Maybe we will put the anti-Obama bumper sticker on our oldest vehicle.

Incidentally, I am aware that conservative talk show personages are receiving threats. Glenn Beck, without providing details, asked for our prayers for him and his family, as well as his staff. I have heard that he has received death threats—so much for the political tolerance and transparency of the left.

Sally and I have lived 68 years and we do not ever recall feeling intimidated about stating or displaying our political views. This was a first for us and I will bet there is more to come.

Wake-up America!!

While we have young men and women risking life and limb to keep this country free and safe can we put possible damage to our cars above showing both them and the Obamanation that we in our own way are willing to put all that we have on the line and are ready to fight for that same freedom. Damage to a car is a small price to pay to have our voices heard in the battle to take our coubtry back. Doubt not this is a war and one we can’t afford to loose. Stand united with pride and fight to the last breath and show them not your fear because fear will devide us and the battle will be lost.

You are spot on, my friend. The bumper sticker will be proudly displayed on our bumper!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. You are always welcome.
